Unfortunately, my stay was fraught with issues. The room was extremely cramped, leaving little room to move around. There was a pervasive old smoke odor that lingered, making it uncomfortable at times. Additionally, I was startled by noise from neighbors who seemed to be on edge, making for a restless night.

The location keeps you on high alert. not for the faint of heart. It’s a unique spot for those looking for a rough-around-the-edges experience.

First off, the photos are misleading—what you see online isn't what you get. The stairs leading to the rooms are rotted, making entry a bit risky. The lock on the door feels insecure, accompanied by a musty room that screams for better ventilation. The small trash can isn’t fit for even a day’s worth of trash. There’s one tiny window which barely lets in fresh air, and the noise from the street? Constant. From car alarms to random knocks at your door, this place challenges your idea of a peaceful stay. Add in a cracked window and stained towels, and you’ve got a recipe for discomfort.

I truly enjoyed the beautiful garden view from my room, adding a nice touch of nature to my stay.

Also, charging a pet cleaning fee felt kinda weird, especially since it was for a service animal. Just left me feeling a bit off about the whole place.

i loved my stay at true north motel! the basic queen room was comfortable, and the location was perfect, just a short walk to local cafes. javier from the staff was super helpful, coming to fix my tv multiple times. also, having a fridge and microwave was great for snacks after exploring.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The garden area and sun terrace were perfect spots to unwind and soak up some sun. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn't ruin my experience. 😊

with the hotel being just a few steps from delicious cafes like Dutch Brothers Coffee and less than a 10-minute walk to beautiful trails, my weekend strolls turned into delightful adventures exploring Colorado Springs’ charm.
